Survival Skills: Sewing Machine Basics | Wednesday, July 24 - 6:00pm | Classroom - Lower Level


Join Ms. Louise for a course on Sewing Macing Basics. This course is offered twice in one day, you only need to attend one.

Tie Dye - Registration Required | Wednesday, July 24 - 6:00pm | The Workshop


Bring in a white cotton or cotton blend shirt or other item to brighten it up with the colors and twisting patterns you make. Snazzy!

QiGong Special Outdoor Summer Classes | Thursday, July 25 - 9:30am | Village Green - Across from the Library


Along with our regular Tuesday morning sessions, instructor Nancy Osley will offer QiGong practice on selected Thursday mornings at the Village Green across the street from the Library.

Anyone (age 16 & up) is invited to sign a waiver and participate.

Qigong is a moving meditation that is simple, easy to learn, and can be done by everyone, at any age and fitness level.

Just mirror the movements of the instructor and reduce tension, improve breathing, and increase flexibility.

Anyone is welcome to come into the Workshop to explore and see what it has to offer. Try your hand at sphero, osmo, snap circuits, and 3D printing, or many other options to nurture your inner scientist. There will be a librarian on hand to answer your questions and to help get you started.

Poly Clay Sculpting | Saturday, July 27 - 11:00am | The Workshop


Polymer Clay is a plastic material that can be sculpted into a variety of creations like jewelry, figurines, or anything else your imagination can whip up then it is hardened in a normal oven

Alternate Universes: Professor Venom | Monday, July 29 - 1:00pm | Community Room


A variety of creatures exist out there in the universe. Professor Venom will teach us about the creatures and ask for participation from those brave enough.

Concert at the Park: Fox and Branch | Tuesday, July 30 - 6:30pm | Fireman's Park in DeForest


Hear a mix of blues, fiddle music, Cajun tunes, New Orleans-flavored numbers, and traditional folk songs for kids.
