2019 Winter Reading Program: Reading is the Cat's Meow - Registration Required
Monday, December 17 (All day) to Wednesday, March 20 (All day)

Please only enter reading level appropriate books that you read during this program.

Dragon Dollars can be spent in the Prize Store or donated to either the DeForest Area Public Library Endowment Fund, the Dane County Humane Society, or the DeForest Area Needs Network. For more information about each of these organizations click their name to visit their website.

Non-redeemed Dragon Dollars (meaning they are on your online account as still owed to you) can be donated to any of the three organizations by sending an email to jsvetlik@deforestlibrary.org before end of day Sunday, March 24, 2019. Please include the amount you are donating to the specific organization(s). Redeemed Dragon Dollars must be donated in person.

All Dragon Dollars earned this reading program will expire at the end of the day Sunday, March 24, 2019.

Anyone is welcome to come into the Workshop to explore and see what it has to offer. Try your hand at sphero, osmo, snap circuits, and 3D printing, or many other options to nurture your inner scientist. There will be a librarian on hand to answer your questions and to help get you started.

Movie Lounge | Friday, December 18 - 3:30pm | Classroom - Lower Level


A chance to hang out, do homework, or watch a teen movie. Plus, there will be free popcorn.

Anyone is welcome to come into the Workshop to explore and see what it has to offer. Try your hand at sphero, osmo, snap circuits, and 3D printing, or many other options to nurture your inner scientist. There will be a librarian on hand to answer your questions and to help get you started.

Teen Games | Monday, December 21 - 3:30pm | Lower Level


Teen Games will meet twice a week, Monday and Thursday.

Each day will have its own Dungeons and Dragons session.

There will also be a variety of amazing games to play, like Munchkin, Fluxx, Loot Letter, Chupacabra: Survive the Night, and more.

Read what catches your eye!

Triptych Book Club offers a graphic novel, a kids novel, and a teen novel with a similar theme. We will discuss the theme, learn trivia, DIY Project, and enjoy a snack.
