Welcome to our first Yule Ball in July! A professor from a renowned dance school will lead our students in the art of dance and hopefully students will not be babbling, bumbling bands of baboons. Students are encouraged to wear fancy dress. Students and guardians of all ages are welcome.

Potions 201 - Giddy Root Beer - Registration Required

Join Professor Schneider in refining your second year potions skills. Everyone knows Giddy Root Beer Potion can make even the most grumpy person turn agreeable. This potion requires several different aromatic roots that are grown here in America and available to all of us, No-Maj, Witches and Wizards alike. We will explore the roots with our senses, the strong delicious smells, bright colors and ability to extract in a simple water solution.

DeForest Library Egg Drop

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to save your egg from certain scrambling.

  • LEARN about kinetic energy and how to cancel its effects
  • BUILD a protective vehicle for your egg cargo
  • DROP the vehicle with the egg inside off the second floor of the library to see if your building skills have saved it.

Studio 203 - Muggle Music
