Touch a Truck Storytime

Fireman's Park

National Public Works Week is May 15-21, so we're celebrating DeForest's Public Works staff and all that they do to maintain our village's streets, parks, buildings, the Library, and more.

Join Miss Emily and Public Works staff for a special outdoor storytime featuring truck-themed stories and songs. Stay afterward to climb on and in some big trucks, play with trucks in the sand, and take a photo or two with special props.

Exploratories are family activity times for pre-school and elementary school-aged children and their families held in the library children's room. Join in the fun!

Sail away with us at this Summer School Age Book Club for kids in grades 1-4.

This summer we will be reading the book Wind Riders Rescue on Turtle Beach written by Jen Marlin and Illustrated by Izzy Burton.

Every week there will be activities that go along with the chapters we read. Space is limited. Register today!

Come and shake your tail-fin with Miss Emily at our Outdoor Summer Storytime. Join us from 10:00 - 10:30 am for singing, dancing, stories, and more! After the stories stay and move and groove with some fun outdoor activities. This program is geared for kids of all ages. Bring a blanket to sit on and join in the fun!

Summer Wiggles & Giggles: Birth - 10 Months Old

Come and join us from 10:00 - 10:20 am for stories, songs, bounces, and giggles. There will be time after the stories to visit with other caregivers and their babies.

Egg Decorating

Registration: Register!

Come decorate eggs with us. We will have an Egg-cellent time! Please bring your own hard-boiled eggs (no more than 1 dozen per family please). We will provide dye and other embellishments.

30-minute appointments are available from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Please register only once per family. We have enough space for 10 families to be in our Community Room.
