We have been greatly saddened by the passing of Jan Williams, longtime DeForest educator and drama program director. She and her drama club students have long contributed to programs at the DeForest Area Public Library, most recently as key presenting partners in our Haunted Library. The celebration of her life is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, the original date for our Halloween Party and Haunted Library.

We can imagine her saying that the show must go on, so we will honor her legacy by moving our Halloween Party and Haunted Library to Sunday, October 29. We hope you will join us. Perhaps you'll hear Jan's signature cackle as you join us for the Halloween Party or explore the Haunted Library.
