Library Board Approved Minutes 2012 Annual Meeting

DeForest Area Public Library Annual Library Board Minutes
Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.

1. Call to Order and Roll Call
   • President Van Iten called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
   • Present : Bales, Blount, Van Iten.
   • Absent & excused : Englesby, Gorres, Lawrence, Zeimet.
   • Also present : Berg, Newbegin.
2. Call for nomination of officers.
   • Bales moved to elect Van Iten as President, Englesby as Vice President, Bales as Secretary and Lawrence as Treasurer.
   • Second : Blount.
   • Discussion : None.
   • Action : Approved.
3. Close nominations.
   • President Van Iten closed the nominations.
4. Election of officers.
   • By a unanimous ballot, the following officers were elected.
     • President : Van Iten.
     • Vice President : Englesby.
     • Secretary : Bales.
     • Treasurer : Lawrence.
5. Select Date and Time of Regular Board Meetings.
   • Bales moved to have the regular board meeting be held the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in Conference Room D of the Library.
   • Second : Blount.
   • Discussion : None.
   • Action : Approved.
6. Adjournment of Annual Meeting.
   • Motion to Adjourn : Bales.
   • Second : Blount.
   • Action : Approved.

Meeting was adjourned at 6:04 p.m.
