- Discussion: Berg noted that this was very large bill run because the July 1st meeting was so early in the month that utility bills and a number of bills from Baker & Taylor missed the meeting date. This month’s meeting was at a more normal time so it includes the usual utility bills as well as those bills missed last month.

- Reports
- Director's - Attendance at the Harry Potter Birthday Party was at least 324. Attendance at the FFA petting zoo (2 bunnies, 2 chickens, 1 goat) had 244 attendees this Tuesday. It was amazing. 9,000 surveys went out in the all-school-district-mailbox edition of the DeForest Times Tribune. So far 57 had been returned. High level look at results was that in-person programs were preferred and hybrid, but it depends on the program. The Concerts on Market Street and the Harry Potter party got really high marks, but these things just happened so being close to the event in time may have skewed things. One comment was that we shouldn’t have so many old books and should use all our shelves. Survey results valued staff about all else.
- President's - Van Iten complimented staff for such a wonderful Harry Potter Party. She had volunteered and worked the event handing out cookies in the shapes of many fantastic beasts. She noted how happy all the attendees were.
- Village Update - Landgraf said it had been a very busy month at the village. Pinseekers had been approved. The public was really engaged and giving their input. There are road projects all over the village including the Jefferson Street extension in front of the High School and North Street. The weather has been great for road construction. There have been problems with Waste Management so if any debris is spotted in the street on garbage pickup day, let Judd Blau or Greg Hall know.

- Berg reported that the survey went out in the July 29th all-mailbox- edition of the DeForest Times Tribune. Most of this report was just given in her Director’s Report. People have been responding. Paper copies and the QR code has been shared at the library booth at the Farmers Market as well. The closing date on the survey is September 1st.
