MAKE MUSIC DEFOREST WITH THE DAPL

Make Music DeForest is a live, free musical celebration on June 21, the longest day of the year, with concerts throughout the community. Visit makemusicday.org/deforest for the full schedule. The DAPL is presenting the following programs that day: 
 

RHYTHM & RHYME SUMMER PARK STORYTIME
(DEFOREST FIREMAN’S PARK) 10:00 a.m. 

Join Miss Emily to explore the rhythms in stories, discover the rhymes that go to the beat, and march in a harmonica parade in this special outdoor storytime. 
 

KARAOKE & DANCE PARTY
(DEFOREST FIREMAN’S PARK) 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

Step up to the mike or hit the dance floor for this outdoor kids karaoke and dance party, complete with bubbles, hula hoops, and more! 
 

MAKE YOUR OWN INSTRUMENTS
(STUDIO 203)  June 20 to July 3 

Stop by the Library’s Studio 203 makerspace to make your own harmonica, shaker, or other musical instruments.
