Did you know that the only plant a monarch butterfly will lay her eggs on is a milkweed plant? Adults and kids are invited to learn how we can protect and foster monarch butterflies from eggs to maturity.
There’ll be hands-on activities to do as we learn about milkweed plants and the life cycle of the monarch butterfly. We’ll see an adult monarch up close as she sips nectar and some lucky nature-lovers will even go home with a monarch caterpillar to watch!
