This is the second part of our three part Mary Lincoln trilogy. Nearing the end of her life, Mary Lincoln was ill in mind, body and soul. She wandered endlessly, always seeking comfort and solace. At what seemed to be the lowest point in her life she would suffer the ultimate betrayal, at the hands of her son, Robert. This is the story of her troubled relationship with Robert, the insanity trial, commitment and the eventual reversal of the court order leading to her release.
Quilling with Cate and Leona PLUS learn about the Library's Maker Space!
Come to Library at the Center in October to learn a new craft with Leona, the Maker Librarian, and Cate from the DeForest Area Public Library! They’ll be covering an intro to quilling. Quilling is a type of art where a person rolls, shapes, and glues paper together to create images.
