Learn about the potential for local plants to create fiber for crafts and art.

Participants will learn to identify and sustainably forage fiber plants, separate the useful fiber from the woody parts of the plant using common kitchen tools, and twist the fiber into 12 inches of string -- about enough for a simple bracelet.

Tools and materials will be provided. Suitable for ages 15 and up.
