Fall/Spring Storytime Schedule:

• Fall Park Storytime: Wednesdays, September 3 & 10
• Story Hour and Tiny Tot Time Sessions Start: September 15, 2025
• Story Hour and Tiny Tot Time Sessions End: April 30, 2026

Fall Park Storytime

• Who: Kids of all ages
• What: Come and shake your sillies out with Miss Emily at our Outdoor Summer Storytime. Join us from 10:00 - 10:30 am for singing, dancing, stories, and more! After the stories stay and move and groove with some fun outdoor activities. This program is geared toward kids of all ages. Bring a blanket to sit on and join in the fun! Parks and themes may change.

  • Wednesdays at 10 am
• Rain Location: Library Community Room

Story Hours

• Who: Kids 2 - 5 years old
• What: Pre-schoolers will build letter and number identification skills while enjoying stories, songs, and activities with their caregivers.
• Where: Children's Room
• When:
  • Mondays at 10:15 am
  • Thursdays at 9:15 am
  • Thursdays at 10:15 am
• This program is offered three times a week, please attend only one session a week.

Tiny Tot Times

• Who: Kids birth - 3 years old
• What: Silly songs, fun action rhymes, and interactive stories will have caregivers and little ones moving and grooving.
• Where: Children's Room
• When:
  • Tuesdays at 10:15 am
  • Wednesdays at 9:15 am
  • Wednesdays at 10:15 am
• This program is offered three times a week, please attend only one session a week.

Friday Fun Storytimes

• Who: All Ages
• What: Join Miss Emily for singing, dancing, stories, and more! After the stories stay and move and groove with some fun activities. This program is geared toward kids of all ages.
• Where: Community Room
• When: Select Fridays at 10:15 am

Notes

• If DeForest schools are closed due to weather, there will be no in-person Storytimes.
• There is no registration required for our Storytimes
• Sessions run from September 15, 2025 - April 30, 2026
• End times may vary
• All programs are subject to change based on attendance.
• There will be NO regular children’s programs, including Storytimes, the weeks of:
