Witches and skeletons and werewolves, oh, my! Join Raechel and Jess on Zoom to paint spooky 3-D printed miniatures. Paint your own miniatures or pick up some at the library. You're welcome to visit The Workshop during Open Lab hours after the event to use the supplies we have on hand. 1 lucky person who attends the Zoom program will win a larger 3D printed miniature that they can pickup at the library to take home and paint!
Can't make it to the Zoom program? You can enter our Mini Painting Contest! One lucky painter who submits a miniature from this month's selection will win a larger 3D printed miniature that they can pick up at the library to take home and paint! You can submit your contest entries to DAPLphoto [at] gmail.com through Tuesday, October 27. The winner will be notified by Thursday, October 29. Photos submitted to the Mini Painting Contest may be posted to the Library's social media accounts.
You are welcome to paint your own miniatures or pickup a miniature from the library. If you are painting your own model please apply primer to it a few days before the program. Miniatures will be available for pickup starting Monday, October 12.
While supplies last registrants will have their choice between Skeletons, Goblins, and Tentacles designed by Fat Dragon Games and Scarecrows, Witches, and Werewolves designed by Rocket Pig Games.
You will need to supply your own paint. Any acrylic paint will work for painting miniatures, but if you are not using paint specifically for miniatures please add 2-3 drops of dish soap to your water. The water and soap will make regular acrylic paint work similar to miniature paints.

If you do not have any paint at home you can still join us on Zoom to talk about painting and gaming. If you do not have brushes at home we will supply you with some while supplies last.
