Are you looking for a new hobby this winter? Give birding a try!

Join Caitlyn Schuchhardt to learn about the wide variety of birds you can find in south-central Wisconsin during the winter season.

She'll share tips for beginning birders, advice for how to make the most of winter birding, and some must-visit destinations.

Whether you'd like to stay warm in the car while you search for snowy owls, or whether you'd like to bundle up and wander some snow-covered trails, you're guaranteed to find some joy in Wisconsin's winter birds.

Caitlyn is the Outreach Coordinator at the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin, a volunteer with Madison Audubon, and a leader of Madison's chapter of the Feminist Bird Club.

She loves introducing new people to birding and showing them the ropes of this rewarding hobby.
