Join Miss Emily at the June 17 DeForest Farmers' Market in Fireman's Park for a pop-up storytime!
Qigong is a moving meditation that is simple, easy to learn, and can be done by everyone, at any age and fitness level. Just mirror the movements of the instructor and reduce tension, improve breathing, and increase flexibility.
Please contact us if you need any accommodations to be able to fully participate.
Suggested age 4k-5th grade.
Rain Location: Children's Room.
Come and shake your sillies out with Miss Emily at our Outdoor Summer Storytime. Join us from 10:00 - 10:30 am for singing, dancing, stories, and more! After the stories stay and move and groove with some fun outdoor activities. This program is geared toward kids of all ages. Bring a blanket to sit on and join in the fun! Parks and themes may change.

We are partnering with Neighborhood Forest to help inspire youth environmentalism! Parents/Guardians, please register your child to receive a FREE tree this Earth day.
Registration ends on March 15.
Trees will arrive the week of April 22, pickup will be at the DeForest Area Public Library. More info to follow for tree pick-up.
Families are invited to join us to enjoy an interactive reading about animals in winter, followed by an opportunity to see and touch animal skins and study mounts.

Embark on a wintry adventure with the DAPL's story walk. Jamie A. Swenson's delightful book, We Want Snow: A Wintry Chant, is a wonderful way to start this winter season.
