Exploring the Eclipse

Children's Room & Teen Area

Learn about the solar eclipse and see it in action! 

Starting at 1 pm there will be interactive science activities in the Children's Room and Teen Area to explore how the eclipse happens and how we can watch it safely, followed by a viewing of the eclipse on the patio. 

Eclipse glasses will be provided (while supplies last) for all participants, and try the Library's eclipse binoculars and telescopes (equipped with safety filters).

If you were registered for April 2 and are attending April 9 you do not need to register again. 

Kids and their adults will playfully explore yoga poses, breathing exercises, and other mindfulness techniques with songs, books, games, fun props, and imagination activities. Props will be provided.
