These avid quilters are excited to teach others their craft. In a 9-week session, you can make this beginner’s quilt they have named “Love of Quilting”. Beginning February 5, Karen and Evelyn will lead you in step-by-step lessons. Some supplies will be provided. A complete supply list will be given to participants at the time of registration. Anyone is welcome to come into the Workshop to explore and see what it has to offer. Try your hand at sphero, osmo, snap circuits, and 3D printing, or many other options to nurture your inner scientist. There will be a librarian on hand to answer your questions and to help get you started.

CNC Demo

Watch a demo of our newest workshop tool the X-Carve. This cnc macing is controlled by a computer to precisely cut out wood to create objects from digital files. Come watch it in action and take home a small carve (while supplies last).

Poly Clay Sculpting

Polymer Clay is a plastic material that can be sculpted into a variety of creations like jewelry, figurines, or anything else you imagination can whip up. We will then fire them in the oven at the library for patrons to take home.

Cat Castles

The cats would have you believe they are royalty so now you can build them a cardboard castle,  spaceship or any other design you would like. 

Scroll Saw Cutting Introduction

Draw a picture of your own or use one of our patterns to help you cut out a creation with our newly donated scroll saw. Younger patrons must have an adult present.

Electroforming Demo
