June 2, 1886 – The White House Blue Room was an explosion of color.

Yellow pansies, garlands of roses and greenery adorned the chandeliers and windows. As the Marine Corps Band, under the direction of John Phillip Sousa, struck up the Wedding March, 21-year old “Frankie” Folsom entered on the arm of her groom, President Grover Cleveland. Truly a “May-December romance”. The new bride would fascinate the public as the nation's youngest First Lady. Meet Mrs. Cleveland as she reminisces about her life.

It creates a baseline so future changes can be monitored. Specialists from the Dane County Aging and Disability Resource Center will provide free 10-minute memory screenings at the Library in Room D. You can also get information about memory, memory clinics, brain health and local resources.

Tuesday (February 12) evening's program is cancelled. We will re-schedule a session for a springtime card program with Shirley Merker at a later date. QiGong Classes - Registration Required

Qigong is a moving meditation that is simple, easy to learn, and can be done by everyone, at any age and fitness level.

Just mirror the movements of the instructor and reduce tension, improve breathing, and increase flexibility.

Open to ages 16 & up. Participants need to register and sign a waiver (waivers are available at the front desk and will be available at the first class).
