Hoop Class with Hoop Elation

Danielle will show off her hoop skills, and then it's time to get hooping! Participants will learn beginner-friendly hoop moves through the 10-Trick Game. Danielle will lead hoop-based creative movement exploration exercises, partner/group activities, and games.

The eMpTy Vees are a dance party band from Madison Wisconsin playing all your favorite 80's New Wave , Synth/Pop and Rock hits! The eMpTy Vees play songs from Madonna, Duran Duran, Joan Jett, Soft Cell, the Bangles, Queen, the Go Go's, Human League, Prince, Eurythmics, INXS, and many more!

Audience members are encouraged to bring chairs for the concerts; a limited amount of grassy space is available for blankets.

Cub Scout Pack 35 will be selling refreshments, including popcorn and rootbeer floats.

The Handphibians - Concert in the Community Room

The Handphibians are a community of musicians from Madison, Wisconsin, who specialize in studying and performing Brazilian percussion.

This show will present Saideira Pagode (pronounced "sai DAY ruh, pa GOH jee,"), consisting of a subset of several longtime members of The Handphibians. They perform Brazilian 'pagode' music, a roots samba style featuring small drums and percussion as well as strings and singing.

Stuart Stotts is an author, storyteller, educator, and songwriter. He’s sung with and performed for kids and families in schools, libraries, and community settings around the world since 1984.

Stuart is a Kennedy Center teaching artist and a frequent presenter at educational events, keynoting conferences and leading workshops for early childhood and elementary school teachers, librarians, and social service professionals around the country.

Audiences are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and enjoy the wonderful entertainment with us!

Perfect for the last half day of school, especially when combined with fun outdoor games on the Village Green and cool sweet treats that will be available for purchase from Susie's Sweets & Treats ice cream truck.

Mr. Steve has been entertaining kids and families for more than 30 years. He has performed throughout the Midwest and Florida, Georgia, and Texas. He also traveled to Ghana West Africa with "Kids Around the World," an organization that builds playgrounds.
