You do not need to complete the first one to complete this one, but it does start where the first one ended. 

This escape room we designed a little easier and shorter than our first room.

Story Walk
Wednesday, July 1 - 12:00pm to Sunday, July 12 - 5:00pm


What magic can be made from a piece of string? Imagine the possibilities as you walk and read this delightful story.

The Story Walk starts on Market Street and will be at the DeForest Area Public Library from noon on Wednesday, July 1 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 12.

Please note, if you are under 13 please obtain your parent's permission before emailing Raechel. New teens are welcome, this program is for Middle School and High School kids only.

Teen Gamers and Dungeons & Dragons players, join us for a virtual campaign session on Zoom!

We will be playing a campaign where you do not know who you are and you must discover a hidden secret.

If you would like to participate, please email Teen Librarian Raechel (raechs@deforestlibrary.org) with the answers to: 

  • If you are part of our teen capmaign what is your character's name?
  • What is your favorite race and class?
  • What book are you currently reading?

The Honey Pies - Concert | Tuesday, July 14 - 6:30pm | Market Street


Meet the Honey Pies: Four musicians, heartfelt harmonies, virtuoso instrumentals and the best of traditional and original American music.

This is a drive-in, park, and listen event. Help us comply with Public Health Madison & Dane County regulations and stay in your vehicle. Get a free ticket for your vehicle at the Library.

Cub Scout Pack 35 will offer bottled water, bottled lemonade, and commercially popped popcorn for sale by car service!

Plans are subject to change. There is no rain date or location. In case of inclement weather, the show will be performed on Facebook Live.
