Engraver Pen | Saturday, April 27 - 12:00pm | The Workshop


Take a turn with our engraving pen to write or draw into a metal plate that you can take home with you. 

Teen Games | Monday, April 29 - 3:30pm | Lower Level


Teen Games will meet twice a week, Monday and Thursday.

Each day will have its own Dungeons and Dragons session.

There will also be a variety of amazing games to play, like Munchkin, Fluxx, Loot Letter, Chupacabra: Survive the Night, and more.

QiGong Classes With Nancy Osley, Instructor | Tuesday, April 30 - 9:30am | Community Room except July 30 will meet in the Teen Area


Qigong is a moving meditation that is simple, easy to learn, and can be done by everyone, at any age and fitness level.

Just mirror the movements of the instructor and reduce tension, improve breathing, and increase flexibility.

Open to ages 16 & up. Participants need to sign a waiver at the start of their first class.

Anyone is welcome to come into the Workshop to explore and see what it has to offer. Try your hand at sphero, osmo, snap circuits, and 3D printing, or many other options to nurture your inner scientist. There will be a librarian on hand to answer your questions and to help get you started.

X-Carve CNC Demo | Wednesday, May 1 - 6:00pm | The Workshop


Watch a demo of our newest workshop tool the X-Carve. This cnc machine is controlled by a computer to precisely cut out wood to create objects from digital files.

Soap Molding | Thursday, May 2 - 6:00pm | The Workshop


Create a mold out of cardboard in any shape you like then pour in the soap which will harden into a unique soap bar for fun, decoration , or perhaps to encourage young makers to wash up more. Bonus - bring a small toy/object to place into the bar while pouring the soap into the mold.
