Painting 3D Miniatures - Registration Recommended | Saturday, February 29 - 1:00pm | The Workshop


Join us to paint miniatures for use in tabletop gaming or just to display. Learn to bring these tiny 3D models to life with a bit of paint and a little know how.

All supplies are provided, even the miniatures! If you want to bring your own model to paint please apply primer to it a few days before the program.

Teen Games | Monday, March 2 - 3:30pm | See Event Description


Teen Games will meet twice a week, Monday (Community Room) and Thursday (Rosenberry Lounge).

Each day will have its own Dungeons and Dragons session.

There will also be a variety of amazing games to play, like Munchkin, Fluxx, Loot Letter, Chupacabra: Survive the Night, and more.

Teens VS Staff Winter Reading Challenge | Monday, March 2 - 4:45pm | Classroom - Lower Level


Read more books than staff in our Winter Reading Program so Teen Librarian Raechel eats hot and spicy sauces!

For every 10 books more that teens read, Raechel will eat sauces on the Scoville scale, like Sriracha, Tabasco, and hotter.

If staff wins, sheʹll eat fruit salsa!

QiGong Classes With Nancy Osley, Instructor | Tuesday, March 3 - 9:30am | Community Room


Qigong is a moving meditation that is simple, easy to learn, and can be done by everyone, at any age and fitness level.

Just mirror the movements of the instructor and reduce tension, improve breathing, and increase flexibility.

Open to ages 16 & up. Participants need to sign a waiver at the start of their first class.

Anyone is welcome to come into the Workshop to explore and see what it has to offer. Try your hand at sphero, osmo, snap circuits, and 3D printing, or many other options to nurture your inner scientist. There will be a librarian on hand to answer your questions and to help get you started.

Anyone is welcome to come into the Workshop to explore and see what it has to offer. Try your hand at sphero, osmo, snap circuits, and 3D printing, or many other options to nurture your inner scientist. There will be a librarian on hand to answer your questions and to help get you started.

Bring a white cotton or cotton blend shirt or other item to brighten up with the colors and twisting patterns you make. Snazzy!
