Anyone is welcome to come into the Workshop to explore and see what it has to offer. Try your hand at sphero, osmo, snap circuits, and 3D printing, or many other options to nurture your inner scientist. There will be a librarian on hand to answer your questions and to help get you started.

Plaster Sculpting | Saturday, June 29 - 10:00am | The Workshop


Carve a small plaster block into a mini sculpture to take home.

Activities, crafts, and snacks are aplenty at our Out of This World party. Engineer a paper airplane of your own design, then navigate your aircraft across the Mezzanine.

Harry and the Potters! | Monday, July 1 - 6:30pm


Calling all Witches & Wizards! Are you ready to rock?! Join us for an evening of magic and music as Harry and the Potters perform in the library.

They are a wizard rock band, consisting of two brothers, Joe and Paul DeGeorge. Since 2002, they have played over 800 shows for all ages in libraries, rock clubs, art spaces, bookstores, basements, and venues all over the world. They helped co-found the Harry Potter Alliance, were profiled in the 2008 documentary We Are Wizards, and appear on a Trivial Pursuit card in Sweden.

QiGong Classes With Nancy Osley, Instructor | Tuesday, July 2 - 9:30am | Community Room except July 30 will meet in the Teen Area


Qigong is a moving meditation that is simple, easy to learn, and can be done by everyone, at any age and fitness level.

Just mirror the movements of the instructor and reduce tension, improve breathing, and increase flexibility.

Open to ages 16 & up. Participants need to sign a waiver at the start of their first class.

Please note: Summer Triptych Book Club will not be meeting at the library, instead join the discussion on Twitter and Instagram! The book discussions will start on the 1st Thursday of the month.

The Triptych Book Club offers a graphic novel, a kids novel, and a teen novel with a similar theme. Books available to check out, see display in Dragon’s Den.
