Vivian Probst is a novelist, writer of several memoirs, linguist, and champion of language skills. She will discuss this and the new book from her five-book series, The Woman Who Forgot Who She Was.

Vivian has written a mystery series that is based on her own life. Book Two in the series, Waking From Her Weariness, is now available.

Do you have fabric remnants hiding in a closet, or yarn stashed away in a tote? Maybe you have buttons left over from a project you finished ages ago. If you're not going to use it, swap it! Bring your unused fabrics, knitting needles, crochet hooks, notions, and yarn to swap at the Library.

Note: Donations to help us build up our stash are welcome! Please drop them off at the library desk.

Join us for a glimpse into the writing lives of two local artists.

Susan, a watercolor artist, recently published A House Named Simplicity: Stories of Finding Home. Her husband, Don, is a fine art photographer and author of Civility: Belonging with Dignity.

In her book, Susan has written a collection of stories about a house that supported their quest to find home, both in a place and within themselves.

Minimalist photography emphasizes simplicity in composition and telling a story with as few elements as possible. It allows one to create images using simple subject matter, only capturing what is essential, and telling a story in the process by exploring the relationship between your subject and the viewer.

Clean out your game closet, bring your board games, card games, or puzzles and get something new. All items should be in good shape, and all pieces should be included.

If you have games to just donate and not swap, you’re welcome to bring them at any time before the swap as we need to have a selection ready.
